I somehow always end up in the US during an election year. This is the third time. But no other election has been as entertaining, or as ridiculous. Suffice to say that its shocking that such a vast number of people could support Drumpf.
But what’s crazier is the system to nominate candidates for each party. Some states have voting, some have caucuses. But what is really odd is that they do not have all the voting or caucusing or whatever you call it simultaneously. This allowing the results of one state to influence and determine the rest.
The only nice part of the process is the open debates and townhalls with the candidates. That allows people to hear them speak on issues and share their point of view.
