Con job of the Opera

This pathetic show is a hit?  After seeing Chicago,  Mamma Mia and The Lion King, this is a sorry excuse for a Broadway musical. The sets are great, actors and the production good, but the basic story, script and songs are so sad that I almost fell asleep during the second half.
